15-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup pasta water
- 1 lemon, juiced
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook 30 seconds.
- Add the shrimp and cook 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Add the drained pasta, reserved pasta water and lemon juice. Toss to coat.
- Stir through the parsley, season to taste and serve immediately.
